CON ARTIST!.
Brought jaguar xj. Within 30 days of purchasing the car I found that 3 of my 4 alloys had multiple cracks and 1 had also had a previous repair. Told Jack and was told to come down the following week. Jack had a quick look around the car and said come back the first week of the new year and he would source me new wheels and a light that was also cracked and was letting water in. So me being stupid I said okay. January comes around and all he does is constantly mess me around. After constantly calling him he said he would offer £350 towards the car when the actual cost of replacing the wheels and light would be £1000 at least. He kept trying to say it would of been picked up on the mot but obviously wasn't. Either way the faults was found within 30 days of purchase so wheels and light was obviously faulty before I got the car.
1wheel had 5 cracks in and the other 2 faulty wheels had several. The light was letting water in for a while as it had gone green on the inside so obviously was broken for a while. By law I'm entitled to have the items replaced. Been to CAB and they also said the same after hours of doing research and going through the law. But he still claims they are classed as wear and tear items even though the law says the opposite. I took the £350 to put towards the costs of my solicitor to take him to court because if I didn't then I would be out of pocket massively. Jack is an absolute joke and a cowboy trader. I have all the photos which clearly prove my position and my solicitor says its open and shut case. Don't let him fool you! Any non wear and tear items are covered by the sale of goods act but apparently the law doesn't apply to him.
I guarantee he will message back to this message trying to be clever but all your doing is making yourself look stupid Jack! Everyone will know exactly what type of person you are! Me.being stupid i didn't look at your previous negative reviews.

Best car buying experience. Love my new car and dealer kept his promise to fix few scratches that my car had. 100% Recommended

Excellent experience. Jack was so down to earth. Answered immediately any questions I had. Friendly and easy to deal with. Love my Mercedes E350. I would recommend Hillfield Motors without question.

I was in a non fault car accident in November 2022, I was looking for a car when I went online and found Hillfield Motors and spoke to a man called Jack on the phone. Nice manner at first telling me about what he could do in my situation to help me get the car to my home address test drive it and purchase if it was right. I paid the deposit he asked for but due to unforeseen circumstances with the timing and insurance claim, I could not go through with getting the car at this time from him. After constant text messages with very little response about refunding my deposit, phone calls trying to get hold of him… nothing , until last week when he said “oh I’ll call you back once spoken with his account” I am still waiting for a call. It is now January 2023 and I am still waiting for the refund.
I would say from all of the reviews on here, read the bad ones , they are true as Jack seems to talk the talk but when it comes to being honest and a decent human being and just refund me it’s all a little too much for him to do the honest thing. I will be taking this further if the deposit is not paid back by the end of this month.
Avoid this place.

Warning ⚠️ please really think before you buy from this garage. (I am of the understanding there are two dealers at this garage but I dealt with jack)
I brought a car it lasted 14months!!! Before it was scrapped and i constantly looked after it!
Firstly jack says they are all checked and serviced before sale….. this can not true because he sold a car with a red warning light on the dash 1st mistake… promised to get it in the garage as he said he would sort it…… did he ever NO! Still have all the evidence of this!
The cars look great there so you put your trust in the garage but don’t be fooled
2nd mistake…… promises, promises, promises ….. but never full filled, communication once brought the car was horrendous (couldn’t do enough before he got his hands on my money)
There was something with the car EVERY MONTH after I brought it! I sent messages after purchase casing up jack sorting these issues that he promised and was under warranty……… no message response, twice picked up my calls out of god knows how many but did I get any further…… NO …..DO NOT TRUST JACK! My partner then had to get involved he was able to solve one issue where jack only met him half way but when I say that’s all he did that’s all he did, the amount of messages calls my partner made…… the customer care is non existent after purchase….. before he’s your best friend can’t do enough always picks your calls up always messages you back! So don’t be fooled
With money I paid for it the money I spent on it afterwards was ridiculous!
I WOULD SAY NEVER BUY FROM THIS GARAGE stay well clear I’ve never been sold a car in the past like this one! Since having trouble after trouble it turns out it’s common knowledge the people I spoke to fixing my car or even picking it up for scrap to the AA guy fixing my car road side……jack had done this to someone they knew it’s shocking!!!

Absolutely over the moon with my purchase through hillfield motors for my daughters car. Jack went above and beyond to not only help me keep the car as a surprise but has been just a quick text or phone call away, if I had any after sale queries. I would 100% recommend anyone to purchase their car from here. They have been amazing. Thanks again!

I would give a zero stars if I could.
A very unprofessional company. Do not believe anything Jack tells you. He will promise you this that and the other but doesn’t follow through.
You message and call him and he makes excuses all the way along. Then when you question him he gets really shirty. Avoid this car sales at all costs!!!

The customer service and help we received from Hillfield Motor Company was brilliant. We dealt with Jack who helped to ensure we had a smooth transaction from choosing the car to collecting and taking it home. I had a problem with the bearings on the car, and Jack had us drop the car off the next day and it was booked in for repair, we collect on Friday, overall I cannot say a bad word, very efficient and friendly company to deal with. Would purchase a vehicle from here again.

Great experience at Hillfield Motor Company.
I recently (Saturday 13 March 2021) went to view a lovely BMW e60 M5 at Hillfield Motor Co with my girlfriend and had an excellent experience.
As a BMW enthusiast, I am particularly fastidious with my cars and viewing this vehicle was no exception. Jack, the owner, was very pleasant, polite and gave me all the time I needed with the vehicle - he simply gave me the keys and told me to take all the time I wanted, absolutely no pressure or sales talk. He allowed me to quietly take the vehicle on a test drive too.
When I returned to the office, Jack let me examine the service history of the vehicle, answered all of my questions knowledgably and had a new MOT put on it. Any dealer that commits their time and their fuel in ensuring potential buyers receive such a good, no-pressure experience is a rare one in my books, so a big thank you to Jack from me.
I can thoroughly recommend Hillfield Motor Co.

Excellent Sale at a sensible price. (Volvo V70 D5)
Car serviced and MoT'd before collection. Pleasant down to earth guy to deal with. Took the car to Volvo main dealer after purchase for inspection. No issues found. Had a fault with the in car entertainment head unit (advised to me before sale). Took a bit of faffing about between different companies to repair it but ultimately was sorted at the Volvo main dealer and paid for by Hillfield Motor Company so no complaints from me and will be going back again subject to the right Volvo been available. Thanks Again.
